Lychee

Lychee

The lychee or China cherry (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) Is a plant of the Sapindaceae family, the only species of the genus Litchi.
It is a tropical and subtropical plant native to southern China and Southeast Asia, today cultivated in many parts of the world. The fresh fruit has a white, delicate and fragrant pulp.

The fruit pulp has a delicate aroma and flavor of muscat and pink grapes.

To fully enjoy the flavor, the fruit can be eaten fresh naturally. However, it also adapts very well to numerous recipes, with fruit salad, added to sparkling or rum cocktails, in sorbets.
