Dill

Dill is a herbaceous plant with small flowers belonging to the Apiaceae family.

It is an aromatic plant that is used in the kitchen to make different types of dishes tastier but also useful in phytotherapy thanks to its excellent properties.

Generally dill is used to flavor pickles, flavor fish and eggs but also vegetables (excellent especially on potatoes), yogurt or cheeses. Given the similarity with wild fennel, there are those who use dill seeds to make bread or other homemade bakery products tastier.
